Members of The Gosport Shed attended the funeral of its founding member Martin Corrick held at the cremortorium in Portchester. Martin on learning about the shed movement in Australia had the idea that such a group would be beneficial to the older men of Gosport. He therefore set about establishing what became The Gosport Shed which first meet with about 20 members at Fort Brockhurst. We, the now 180 members, have a lot to thank Martin for, his vision and his ability to make it happen.
Many members, in their trademark yellow shirts, attended the service and the Gsoport Shed ukelele band played at the wake at the request of the family.
